Unequivocally sporty

The content doesn't always live up to the packaging. Not so in the new Polo. It will exceed your expectations. How? With sporty, low-emission petrol engines. With powerful, quiet common rail diesel engines. And with a wide range of equipment features that make sporty driving with the new Polo a true experience – for example the optional sports suspension.

Unequivocally faster

Unequivocally faster

They’re economical, produce low emissions and are really good fun: the modern Volkswagen petrol engines. For the new Polo, you can choose between a 44 kW (60 hp), 51 kW (70 hp) and a 63 kW (85 hp) engine. Of course, they all satisfy the Euro 5 standard (fuel consumption: 5.5 – 5.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 128 - 139 g/km).

Unequivocally cleaner

Lighter, more efficient, and above all: cleaner. The innovative Volkswagen common rail diesel engines. They’ve always been sporty and economical. Now they can also match up to the TSI engines in terms of environmental compatibility. The 55 kW (75 hp) engine satisfies the Euro 5 emissions standard and will take you a good bit closer to where you want to go with just one tank of fuel (fuel consumption: 4.2 l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 109 g/km).

Unequivocally safe

Driving a car means accepting responsibility. For yourself. For other occupants. For other road users. Volkswagen supports you here: with the electronic stabilisation program, which includes ABS with brake assist system, TCS traction control, EDL and MSR engine drag torque control with hill-start assist. Airbags for driver and front passenger, with front-passenger airbag deactivation, combined head and side airbags for front-seat passengers and optionally for the rear, optional front fog lights, including static cornering lights, and on request daytime running lights in the bumper.

Unequivocally versatile

Driving a car is not just a matter of being practical. Driving a car is a statement of your attitude to life. And part of this is of course that the driver injects his own personality into his car. Music, for example. We therefore offer a choice of radio systems for the new Polo, such as the new "RCD 510", and radio/navigation systems such as the "RNS 310". And you can inject your own personality into the car with light alloy wheels, optional sports suspension and cruise control system.
