An engine for everyone. The new Scirocco offers TSI engines with outputs from 90 kW (122 hp) to 118 kW (160 hp; twin turbocharger) and up to an impressive 147 kW (200 hp) (fuel consumption: 6.3 – 7.6l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 147 – 179 g/km). Regardless which engine you chose, you’re sure to feel the need for speed more than ever before. But choosing the right engine isn’t the only hard choice you’ll have to make. Picking between the standard sport-tuned 6-speed manual gearbox and the 6/7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox, combining the best aspects of automatic and manual gearboxes, is a choice which will leave even the most decisive buyers considering their options.
