The new Tiguan.

Power and economy. Compactness and space. Civilisation and wilderness. The new Tiguan crosses boundaries. It merges the characteristics of a compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) with the design of a genuine sports car. Hardly surprising that the new Tiguan is conquering the market with no fewer than two front end designs.

The “Trend & Fun” and “Sport & Style” equipment packages create an elegant on-road design. The low swung front apron lends both versions a sporty look. Dynamism on the road is also guaranteed. The sports suspension is firmly sprung and perfectly tuned to the 4MOTION four-wheel drive.

The ambitions of the Tiguan Track & Field are evident at first sight. The sharply contoured front end creates masses of ground clearance, making it ideally suited for overhang angles of up to 28°, so there is nothing to stand in the way of a quick off-road excursion. The special thing here being that the off-road functions required for this can be activated simply at the touch of a button.

Shortly after its launch at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Tiguan is already really cleaning up: the European consumer protection organisation Euro NCAP has tested the newcomer for its vehicle safety, and the results are first class.
