1. Our vehicles are fitted with summer tyres as standard. As of 4 December 2010 you are required by law in the Federal Republic of Germany to prepare your vehicle for wintry conditions.

Intuitive voice control gives you a means of controlling the radio, phone, and optional navigation systems in your new Polo by simply speaking to them. For example, you can choose your favourite music online or enter destinations into your navigation system using this completely intuitive method.

The connectivity offers from Volkswagen give you more convenience, security and entertainment. The connection of your Polo to the internet and your smartphone brings you to your destination more relaxed - all you have to do is drive yourself.

Alongside the conventional airbags, the central airbag in the new Polo offers protection against a collision between driver and passenger. In addition, there are two curtain airbags on board, which in an emergency deploy from the headliner like curtains, covering the entire side window areas from front to back, including the B-pillar. This provides effective protection for everyone in the car, including those in the rear seats.¹

1. Within the system limits.

No more routing around in your trousers, handbag or jacket pocket on the hunt for you car keys: As long as you have it with you and you are no more than 1.5 metres away from your Polo, you can unlock the doors and boot lid automatically, as if by magic. You also don’t need a key to start the engine. All it takes is the touch of a button. And if Keyless Access isn’t working, then it just means that your key isn't in your pocket after all. Perhaps it’s on the kitchen table?
