Assist systems for enhanced safety for the T-Roc at a glance
The following assist systems for enhanced safety are available for the different T-Roc models:
- Proactive occupant protection system
- Front Assist emergency braking system
- Lane Assist lane keeping system
Proactive occupant protection system
The optional proactive occupant protection system can detect precarious situations with the potential to cause an accident and automatically take precautions depending on the situation.
- Windows and sliding sunroof are closed to a crack to optimise the effect of the airbags.
- The front seat belts are tightened in an instant to secure the driver and front passenger in their seats.
- The hazard warning lights are activated.
Front Assist
The Front Assist emergency braking system with pedestrian detection can warn you of accidents involving pedestrians and vehicles and, if necessary, automatically apply the emergency brakes for you.
Lane Assist
From 65 km/h Lane Assist can recognise if your vehicle leaves its lane unintentionally. With corrective steering intervention, it focuses your attention back on the driving situation and keeps your vehicle in its lane.
If you nevertheless go over the lane limit, it will also warn you with a vibration in the steering wheel.
